I'm a complete beginner. Is coaching too early for me?

No — it is the best time. Beginners build habits fast, and it is much easier to learn a good routine than to unlearn a bad one later.

How do the lessons actually run?

Online, one to one, usually 60 minutes. We share a board, go through your games and positions, and every lesson ends with one clear thing to practise before the next.

Do you teach children?

Yes. Juniors are a large part of my work, from first tournaments to championship preparation. Parents get a short summary of what we covered and what to practise.

What do I need before the first lesson?

A computer with a stable connection and a few of your recent games — Chess.com or Lichess links are perfect. Nothing else.

What if the trial lesson isn't useful?

Then we stop there, with no pressure and nothing further to pay. You still keep the written plan from the session.

Do I have to buy anything to start lessons?

No. The products are for people who want to study on their own; coaching does not depend on them.

Can I pay online?

Yes. Trial and single lessons can be paid for directly on the site through Gumroad, by card. Packages are arranged personally — message me and we will sort out the details.

How often should I have lessons?

Once a week works best for most students — enough time to practise between sessions, short enough that the last lesson is still fresh.
